Institutional access to our courses:
The National Medical Commission’s document – “Competency based undergraduate curriculum for the Indian Medical Graduate” specifies in 3.4.4: Competency based Undergraduate (UG) curriculum for the Indian Medical Graduate (Foundation course for MBBS) specifies on page 64: |
These skills of searching (and referencing) are rarely taught in the curriculum with a systematic approach that IS needed. QMed wishes to help impart and spread these skills. It is our mission to ensure that our skills reach out to all institutions in India.
We invite institutions to partner with us and for each institution to provide access to:
- UG students – please make it mandatory for them
- PG students, Fellows, Residents, Faculty and all other healthcare professionals – please encourage maximum numbers to do the courses
How we have made things easy to go ahead
Removing real / perceived constraints:
- Registered participants have a whole year to learn and the duration of all courses is just about eight hours of video viewing plus a little additional time for assessments
- An average video is only five minutes long, so one can do the courses bit by bit
- The courses can easily be done on a mobile too
Costs – easy to approve:
We believe that with large numbers of institutions taking access, we can keep the costs low. This is a win-win for all. Here are our annual rates for institutional access:
- Medical Colleges – Rs 70,000 plus GST – 18%
- Dental and Pharmacy Colleges – Rs 50,000 plus GST – 18%
- Physiotherapy Colleges & non teaching Hospitals – Rs 40,000 plus GST – 18%
- Nursing Colleges & Small Institutions – Rs 25,000 plus GST – 18%
Please note:
- Every institution can request for one full day workshop on enrolling. Travel reimbursement required: Economy air fare, or II AC train fare / luxury bus / taxi fares / petrol costs – as applicable (where flights do not operate). Pick up from and drop to the airport / railway station, as applicable. Guest house / safe hotel accommodation if there is a need for an overnight stay
- More workshops can be arranged at a nominal charge of Rs 10,000/- plus travel and accommodation
- GST (currently 18%) will be added as applicable at the time of invoicing.
- The above rates are for educational / research institutions / hospitals in India.
- In addition to access to our courses and workshops, we offer doubt solving sessions and support sessions via webinars.
Once you pay to gain access:
- We will send a Google form which you need to circulate and students and employees need to fill this in order to register and get access. Do note you can add users at any time during the year. For Institutions who have “Single Sign On facilities to provide access to library resources (eg – Knimbus / MyLoft) – we can integrate access through these
- Please nominate three people who coordinate with QMed for
- Registration process
- Receiving monthly reports
- Coordinating webinar sessions / workshops
- Ensuring that the learning opportunities are well utilized
- Letting us know if anyone leaves the institution, so that their access is revoked
- Please request every department to have one volunteer who will coordinate with the above three for the same activities
