The Forum for Ethics Review Committees in India (FERCI) is set up as the national chapter of FERCAP (Forum for Ethics Review Committees in Asia-Pacific), which is an initiative undertaken by WHO TDR. The objective of this body is to improve understanding and implementation of ethical review of biomedical research in India, with relevance to local cultural values. Annual International Conferences, deliberations and conducting training workshops are some of the components of this objective.
This year FERCI is hosting the 17th FERCAP International Conference & 5th FERCI National Conference in the City of Delhi, from 19th to 22nd November on a theme “Strengthening International research collaboration through Good Ethical Practice”.
