Sorry folks! Our blogging activity was down for most of March and April 2020. We had to do a lot of planning for the lockdown and once we started working from home, there was a lot of adaptation to do as well.
I hope everyone reading this is keeping well and safe. We have all the time been sending up prayers for all health professionals to be safe and strong. We are aware that burn out could be an issue, and we just hope that everyone emerges stronger.
We have been working at completely revamping our online courses – do check out our latest Newsletter to know more. We have also been helping in the literature searching and reference management for two systematic reviews. As most of us discover, the more we do hands on, the more we learn.
I have been learning a lot about managing duplicates in Mendeley. Duplicates come in unexpected forms. Sometimes there are absolutely identical records that have two PMIDs in PubMed and get imported as unique ones. Sometimes, one record is the article and the other is a CE test.
Then, often the author names do not get imported right. And we decided that we would not correct them now and would correct only those that the authors chose to use in their review.
In the recent years, many people have expressed interest in writing various forms of reviews and we realize that all this knowledge is going to help them a lot. We are happy that our online courses are going to be very helpful to them!
We are waiting to announce the brand new courses very soon. Oh yes – they include the New PubMed too!
